He has climbed the ladder beginning in the yard doing the job we all dread but remember, racking timber. He then became competent in order pulling and machinery.

Ardan has undertaken extensive training in timber, hardware, safety and first aid.  Ardan also holds a Certificate II in Customer Service from Bremmer TAFE in Western Australia. Ardan comes to Fineline to progress his career further and is now in internal sales.

Ardan says he “is excited about his future here at Fineline and is enjoying being a part of a tight knit team.”

Damien says, “ Ardan is one of the most polite people in Fineline and is always willing to go the extra mile for his clientele”.

Bec has given up her 16 year long teaching career to take on the e-commerce side of Fineline.  She updates the Fineline Website and Facebook Page as well as receives and answers (or passes on) the general emails of the company.

Damien says, “Well,  she is my wife so I like her.”

Her nickname is ‘The Warden’ because she ‘controls’ us all.

Damien says, “Whilst I don’t always understand her (Scottish accent), Gail is my rock; she keeps me calm in moments of chaos and has loyalty that I really appreciate”.

Russell’s career is wide and extensive.  He has run his own Handyman company, and successfully built 3 houses as an owner builder. He worked at Bunnings for 6 years at Mt Gravatt receiving extensive service awards and was promoted as manager of the timber department.

Russell holds a Certificate in General Mechanics and Automotive Spray Painting, which is evident with his hobby of restoring cars.

Russell says he, “loves coming to work and sees plenty of potential for personal and professional growth here.”

Damien says, “Russell is ‘The company fix-it man!’ Also he is the tidiest yard foreman we have had since I became involved with Fineline.”

Alex is the newest member of the Fineline team. He is an enthusiastic young man with plenty of energy.

Alex says, “It’s great working here, we are all like friends as well as colleagues” and describes Fineline as “The best job he has ever had.”

Damien says, “Alex is so eager to learn and nothing seems ‘too hard’ for him… a pleasure to have on board”.

Alex and his partner Krystal are eagerly awaiting the arrival of their first child in May of this year.

Shelly is Ardan’s Alexdrainne parrot. He comes in to work with Ardan everyday and keeps us all entertained.

He is keen on grapes and small toys. Be careful though… he loves to BITE!
