FINELINE ENVIRONMENTAL POLICY.
Fineline Timbers are committed to the procurement of marketable products from all sustainable resources. We aim to reach these expectations by way of completely following the criteria listed below, for all of our wood based products we market and distribute.
* Fineline Timbers has a chain of custody practise and engages its suppliers to adopt this chain of custody procurement system within their own organisation.
* Fineline continues to procure timber products from recognised and endorsed under and by, Forest certification schemes including the Pan-European Forest Certification (PFEC) models and the Forest Stewadrship Council (FSC) These frameworked schemes are the preferred models for sustainable forest mamagement
* Where ever possible, Fineline Timbers will source both soft and hardwood species from plantation forests specifically cultivated and harvested for wood based products.
* Fineline Timbers will give preference to wood products that have been manufactured from wood fibre sourced from legally managed forests by the relevant Government Authority and/or body.
